The plant is designed to handle up to <strong data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"422\">1,500 tons\/day<\/strong> of waste, from both sorted and unsorted collection, with the aim of:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"715\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"542\">\n<p data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"542\"><strong data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"526\">Maximizing material recovery<\/strong> (up to 80\u201390%),<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"592\">\n<p data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"592\"><strong data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"577\">Minimizing landfill disposal<\/strong> (only 10\u201320%),<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"593\" data-end=\"668\">\n<p data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"668\"><strong data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"622\">Generating clean energy<\/strong> (for self-consumption and grid distribution),<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"669\" data-end=\"715\">\n<p data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"715\">Completely avoiding the use of incineration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"747\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"747\">Main treatment lines:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"1692\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"870\">\n<p data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"870\"><strong data-start=\"751\" data-end=\"784\">Pre-treatment and MSW sorting<\/strong> \u2013 separation of organic and dry fractions through mechanical shredding and screening.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1008\">\n<p data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"1008\"><strong data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"900\">Dry waste sorting line<\/strong> \u2013 recovery of recyclable materials (paper, plastics, metals, etc.) using ballistic and magnetic separators.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1009\" data-end=\"1136\">\n<p data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1136\"><strong data-start=\"1012\" data-end=\"1052\">RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) production<\/strong> \u2013 processing of non-recyclable high-calorific waste through shredding and refining.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1265\">\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1265\"><strong data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1163\">Anaerobic digestion<\/strong> \u2013 treatment of the moist organic fraction to produce biogas (for electricity and heat) and digestate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1417\">\n<p data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1417\"><strong data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1305\">Biostabilization and dehydration<\/strong> \u2013 aerobic treatment in closed biocells of digestate and dry fraction to produce stabilized and inert materials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"1536\">\n<p data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1536\"><strong data-start=\"1421\" data-end=\"1468\">WEEE and ferrous\/non-ferrous metal recovery<\/strong> \u2013 disassembly and separation of e-waste, vehicles, and metal scrap.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1692\">\n<p data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1692\"><strong data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1576\">End-of-life tires (ELT) recovery<\/strong> \u2013 mechanical grinding and separation for reuse in modified bitumen, technical products, or compatible rubber mixes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1744\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong data-start=\"1699\" data-end=\"1744\">Environmental and technological features:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1963\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li data-start=\"1745\" data-end=\"1789\">\n<p data-start=\"1747\" data-end=\"1789\">No direct combustion or harmful emissions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1790\" data-end=\"1828\">\n<p data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"1828\"><strong data-start=\"1792\" data-end=\"1820\">Biological deodorization<\/strong> system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1829\" data-end=\"1873\">\n<p data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"1873\">Flexible layout, adaptable to local needs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1963\">\n<p data-start=\"1876\" data-end=\"1963\">Quality control on recovered materials, to ensure reintegration into industrial cycles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1965\" data-end=\"2131\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IWR system offers a <strong data-start=\"1989\" data-end=\"2015\">circular economy model<\/strong> applied to urban waste, delivering concrete benefits for the environment, public health, and energy sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_3,1_3,1_3&#8243;
